Privacy,
and the terms.

When you join the Fall List: your email address, and your ZIP code if you give one. When you reserve a porch: your name, email, phone number, service address, install-week choice, and any notes you add. When you pay: your card is entered directly with Stripe — we never see or store the full number. When you use the site: pages viewed, referring link, approximate location from your IP, device and browser, and a recording of your session as described below.

To design and install your porch, to tell you when your install week is confirmed, to charge the balance after installation, to answer you when you write in, and to understand which pages actually help people decide.

This site uses Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking, the Meta (Facebook) pixel, PostHog product analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Sentry error monitoring. Meta and Google Ads are advertising tools — they can be used to show you our ads elsewhere and to measure whether an ad led to a booking. Microsoft Clarity records anonymised playback of how pages are used, including mouse movement, scrolling and clicks; form fields and payment details are masked.

Stripe (payments), Airtable (where bookings are kept), Resend (confirmation and reminder emails), Klaviyo (list emails and any SMS), Cal.com (install scheduling), Google Places (address suggestions in the booking form), and Netlify and Framer (hosting). Each receives only what it needs to do its part. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

You are emailed only about your own booking, or because you asked to be on a list. Every list email has an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Text messages are sent only if you tick the box asking for them; reply STOP to any message to stop them, and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to texts is never a condition of buying anything.

The tools above set cookies. You can block or delete them in your browser, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. Blocking them will not stop you booking a porch.

Write to hello@thefrontporchlady.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deletion may be limited where we must keep a record of a completed sale for tax purposes.

Carly photographs installed porches for the website and social media. Photographs show the porch, and are cropped so that house numbers are not legible. If you would rather your porch was not photographed, say so — before or after — and it will not be used.

Booking records are kept for seven years for tax and accounting. List subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data expires on each provider's own schedule.

This is a service sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

The design, materials, delivery, installation and end-of-season removal of a seasonal front-porch display, at the package level you choose. Autumn packages are made up of real pumpkins, gourds and hay bales in the quantities listed on the packages page; they do not include a wreath, doormat, planters or lanterns. Every other season uses premium faux materials.

The Doorstep is $445, The Porch is $595, The Steps is $845 and The Full Front is $1,395. Each is reserved with $99 and the balance is charged automatically the day after installation. Prices exclude Virginia sales tax. Add-ons (mums, extra hay bales, critter spray) are arranged separately and are not charged at checkout. Estate porches are quoted individually.

Autumn installs run across six weeks, Monday 21 September to Saturday 31 October 2026. The season is limited by the pumpkin harvest rather than by preference — there is no sourcing them earlier or later — so weeks are finite and are allocated in the order they are reserved.

The $99 holds a specific dated install week and comes off your total. It is a reservation deposit, not a design fee, and it is fully refundable until the pumpkin order is placed ten days before your week. After that point it is not refundable, because the pumpkins are cut to order.

You may move to any other open week at no charge up to ten days before your install. Cancel before that same point for a full refund. Cancel after it and the deposit is retained; the balance is not charged if the porch is not installed.

You need not be home. We need to be able to reach the front door and to leave the display in place. Nothing is drilled, nailed or adhered to your door or masonry. If access is blocked and we cannot install, we will contact you to reschedule.

Included at every package level. Removal takes place between Monday 30 November and Friday 18 December 2026, on a date assigned by route rather than one you choose. You need not be home, and we email you the day before we are on your street. Hardware is collected; the pumpkins and gourds go to a farm in Loudoun County as feed.

Displays are installed outdoors and are exposed to weather and to animals. Every display is treated against squirrels, but no one in this trade can guarantee against them. If something is damaged in the first 48 hours by anything other than weather or animals, tell us and we will put it right.

You are responsible for knowing your HOA's rules. We design within normal Northern Virginia HOA guidelines and will work with any specific restriction you tell us about, but we cannot be responsible for a fine or a removal notice.

Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington and Prince William counties, plus Alexandria, Falls Church, Manassas, Manassas Park and Fairfax City. The ZIP check on the service-area page is authoritative.

Our responsibility for any claim relating to a porch is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Virginia law.
